Professional Development May Represent A Challenge, But It Is Doable

Professional Development May Represent A Challenge, But It Is Doable
By Glienda T. Pfeifer

I never pictured myself in a sad like this. When I just finished college my motivation was as high as my vision and I simply wanted to show the world what I was capable of. The pay was fine, work itself didn't require too much effort, and over the years I settled in. And I accepted that for many years.

One day realize how wrong I was by making myself staying in the same position. I appeared being comfortable with the idea of not having too many things to do but I wasn't truly proud of myself. When a friend was moved to a new job position I would make myself believe I was staying behind because I wanted to be that way. This issue led me to start questioning my knowledge. And those words were transformed into a depressive feeling of not being clever enough.

This is a visible inconvenient of settling down professionally. But this does not match with the generalized idea of professional or personal growth that we all have. In a very inexplicable matter humans love continuous learning and being successful. But if you are deeply immerse in your own vicious circle it won't be easy to believe in yourself. You could even get to the point of believing you are definitely not useful in another position. You will be restraining the amount of money you can win because of your careless behavior. Because your salary will remain frozen you will need to forget about making any house improvements for example.

Through the years, more mature, I realize that I put myself into that conflict because I was afraid of responsibility. Afraid even to consider making something unusual. This is not something new, in fact, it is becoming more and more common that someone has created Executive Success Programs (ESP) to help people become more decisive.

ESP is a reliable resource for breaking through perceived barriers that prevent professional advancement. It provides an inductive patent-pending group of strategies that helps one to overcome limitations, and as a result you will be able to realize personal growth in all areas of life, including in the workplace.
