Water can cause much damage in your home and valuables. It is important to note that in most cases extensive damage caused by water in homes could have been avoided if the matter is addressed on its early stage. Some other causes are pump failures or water seeping because of hydrostatic failure. Category 2 is also known as the Grey Water category. The water causing the damage can have contaminants that would be harmful to both humans and pets.

Overflowing streams and rivers, toilet back flows and water from the sewer are usually categorized in the Black Water or Category 3. This is the most dangerous water damage type. This is the reason why it is highly advised that homeowners leave the task to the specialists of water damage. The water involved in this type of damage can cause many diseases and can even result to fatality in both humans and animals.

In any water damage situation the best thing to do is have the water damage specialists fix the situation. This would save your home form suffering more damage. On your end you would be able to avoid spending thousands of dollars to restore your home. Keep in mind that the longer the water is left standing in your home the worse would the damage and deterioration would be. It is crucial that any water damage situation is addressed within the first 24 hours of damage occurrence.
